Dear Colleague:

I am pleased to share with you the just published U.S. Army War College Academic Year 2026–27 Annual Estimate of the Strategic Security Environment, in which I had the privilege of authoring the section on “Central and South America and the Caribbean” (pp. 16-23) and the “Mexico” section of “North America” (p. 13-14).

Although much has changed in Latin America and the world in the mere months in which this product was in the editing and review process, I believe that you will find it a useful reference.
