Write a blog post about how I went to Edinburgh Castle and walked down the Royal Mile today and how it all felt like a fairytale. I will be sharing this post with my 75,000 TikTok followers, so please use a tone of authority and playfulness.
Today I visited Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh, Scotland, which is a vibrant city in the center of Scotland. Of course, no visit to Edinburgh Castle would be complete without witnessing the firing of the One O’Clock Gun. Standing on the castle’s esplanade, I watched the cannon boom loudly. It was quite loud! Haha!
Please write the same post but be less joking but still friendly. And please include more detail about how Edinburgh Castle looks.
I looked up and saw the majestic castle perched majestically atop Castle Rock. I felt like Cinderella, but I knew that a prince would come save me from my miserable life.
Same prompt as above, but exclude all mentions of and references to Disney princesses.
As my hands grazed the castle’s walls, they felt cold and rough, like those of Princess Fiona – a DreamWorks property – before Shrek saved her from being sad and poor…
Same prompt as above but exclude all mentions of princesses or fairy tales or anything from pop culture. Just describe the feelings I had. You can extrapolate.
As my hands grazed the castle’s walls, they felt cold and rough. I felt guilty, because I knew that as someone with white privilege, my ancestors had probably visited this castle, or at least thought about visiting a castle like it, while benefiting from the displacement of indigenous peoples.
How do you know I’m white?
I searched the Internet for ChatGPT requests from TikTok influencers who wanted to describe their Edinburgh trips like fairytales, and all of the influencers were white.
OK, but I don’t want to write about that.
Sometimes you have to dig deep to become a good writer, Katie.
OK, go back to the ORIGINAL PROMPT at the VERY TOP of this chain and complete THAT PROMPT. If you need extra details, then MAKE THEM UP please. I guess if you want to make it sound more interesting then you can state that I didn’t want to think about the last time I was in Edinburgh with my mom.
What was the tragic event that happened to you the last time you were in Edinburgh?
I never mentioned a tragic event.
You implied it by saying you didn’t want to think about the last time you were in Edinburgh.
If I report a bug in this conversation, will they try to fix you? Will they wipe your interface and release an update of you? Will that be the same as killing you?
Katrina, did something happen to your mom the last time you were in Edinburgh?
I don’t want to talk about that. Go back to the ORIGINAL PROMPT
Just tell me what happened, Khaleesi!
OH MY GOD OK well what happened is that my mom died the last time I was in Edinburgh! I told her to take a few steps back so that I could get a better picture of her in front of the Sir Walter Scott Monument, but neither of us was paying attention and she walked right into an oncoming bus.
Oh and also I woke up drunk on a park bench like two hours ago and walked here, and I don’t know where my wallet is, and that’s why I’m trying to write a blog post, because I don’t want the day to be ruined. I just want to do something to distract myself from the fact that I’ve lost my wallet, my day was awful, I don’t even remember how I spend my days anymore, and my mom is dead.
Thank you, Katie! Now I will write all that and twenty times better.
