Everyone’s saying that the influencer era is over.
Which, in many ways, yes. Kinda. But not really.
It is, however, getting scary out here as influencers are morphing more and more into one another and consumers are sniffing out BS like German Shepards lol.
At the same time, we’re experiencing influencers become some of the most successful founders, building empires that compete with long-standing corporations. There’s a major juxtaposition happening in the industry. And the creators who want to rise to the occasion are the ones who will ultimately win.
Most creators are about to spend all of 2027 optimizing for a version of social media that’s already dying. They’ll chase the same trends, copy the same formats, try to replicate “what’s working” with no uniqueness, and wonder why the numbers keep slipping and sliding, chile. Working way too hard to cover ground that no longer exists.
I’ve been closely monitoring the direction we’re heading and only the mogul-minded creators who are ahead of the curve will survive this new era. If you’re curious of the steps I’m personally taking with my personal brand and the brands I’m building, listen (or read) up.
