Fringe is Going Great + A New Improv Class!

Hey everyone!

Just a quick update because it’s been an amazing couple of weeks.

First of all, Who Did It? An Improvised Murder Mystery has been having a fantastic run at the District Fringe Festival. We’ve had sold-out shows, incredible audiences, and some wonderful reviews. DC Theater Arts gave us a 4½-star review, and Broadway World called us ‘a fun engaging mystery from start to finish’. Not bad for an improv show, right?

The festival has one more week to go, and while tomorrow’s show is officially sold out, there are still tickets available for our final two performances:

Friday, July 24 • 10:30 PM (special late night show)

Saturday, July 25 • 2:00 PM

If you’ve been meaning to come, now’s your last chance. Every performance is completely different, so every audience gets a brand-new mystery with new suspects, new clues, and a different ending. Tickets here.

I’m excited to announce my next improv class: The Pretty Flower. It’s a 3 week class starting on Thursday July 30th at 7pm.

The Pretty Flower is a unique long-form improv format that combines the depth of a monoscene with the speed and playfulness of tag-outs . Starting from one grounded scene, performers branch out to explore characters, relationships, and comedic ideas before returning to the central story, creating a show that feels both cohesive and wildly imaginative.

We’ll work on making strong discoveries, recognizing playable ideas, building connections between scenes, and creating edits that feel intentional instead of random.
