Good news, not cancer. A non-malignant tumour that also turned out to be a rare hybrid type. The biopsy was sufficient to get rid and I retain my lush, wiry facial hair to the delight of absolutely nobody.
The really annoying ‘ping’ turned out to be the result of using the iPad version of Tapestry on MacOS. Now replaced with an actual mac program and the binging has stopped.
Any other business
You should also make sure that you update software, or at least check the updates. I own a copy of Reason 12, per previous posts and I thought I’d missed the window for a free upgrade to v13. Turns out I hadn’t and they’d silently updated the licence about 12mo ago! So that was nice.
