UCFS-CALC in the 2026 Rocket Community Challenge

United Community Family Services–Chaldean American Ladies of Charity (UCFS‑CALC) announced its upcoming participation in the 2026 Rocket Community Challenge, a national month‑long fundraising competition powered by Rocket Community Fund. The challenge, which runs August 3–28, 2026, brings together hundreds of nonprofits across the country to raise critical funds for their missions.

Last year, UCFS‑CALC raised $28,500 during the challenge—funds that directly supported the organization’s wraparound services for vulnerable families across Southeast Michigan.

“The Rocket Community Challenge is one of the most energizing fundraising opportunities we participate in each year,” said Arjan Kallou, COO of UCFS‑CALC. “It brings together nonprofits of every size and gives our supporters a chance to rally around the work we do. Last year’s results were incredible, and we’re excited to build on that momentum.”
