"what if i hate markdown almost as much as i hate ai?"

i have done everything i can to make using markdown more comfortable in enough. i too have never been a huge fan, though i’m coming around.

i kind of prefer plaintext, tbh. which, it’s worth pointing out, works just fine in enough.

but markdown is very useful for interacting with LLM agents, and hopefully with a little practice, the advantages to human readers (and writers) will become apparent. i also don’t expect this to be your only or primary text editor.

and back to the non-generative general ai ambivalence aspect … i guess i can’t claim, or even believe, that people who hate ai may still be comfortable using enough, or see a need for it.

but i want to believe that, so i tried to make something that gives you the power of LLMs, really powerful contemporary ones, without being “ai.”
