What does it feel like to be poor?
If I had to sum it up in a single word, I think I’d use “exhausting”.
There’s a major problem in the economy, and I’ve named it Time Violence. It’s where things take up more time than they should, often by magnitudes.
And then I read things like this, in the latest issue of Packy McCormick’s newsletter.
That sums up Time Violence. The systems are so broken, you simply can’t win. And if you are poor, you don’t even get to pretend you can.
I’m going to fix it, but I’m exhausted from trying. The bottega opens today, and soon, more people will be able to help me.
If you want to help me out a bit, you can grab one of the 1010 memberships. It’s a single $100 payment that indicates trust to the economy. It’s based on my 1010 model to replace the 1000 true fans model.
It’s simply proof of trust. There will be some really cool things delivered alongside it, but it’s mutual trust. And it’s going to be the basis of the new economy.
Because I can’t guarantee what I will do when I have enough money, but I can guarantee that I won’t prevent someone from receiving healthcare because it would affect my bottom line.
I’ve been that bottom line. And I’m done being at the bottom. It’s time to rise up and show the world how to change.
But I can’t do it alone. So let’s do it together.
