How a week can change things

As a quick notice, next Monday will be my 1000th consecutive daily newsletter post. After that, I won’t be posting each day. In fact, I don’t know if I will post again! I’m taking a solid break and then will think about what I want to do next and that may not involve Endless Metrics.

Thinking about a weeks time going backwards, I wrote a post about waiting on data and how I felt fairly optimistic about market conditions. Stocks didn’t do very well from the time I wrote that post and now they are hovering uncomfortably close to setting new lower lows.

It’s all just a reminder that things are complex and volatile. I suppose that goes beyond just stocks as well.
