June is the month when I usually switch from sending out the last Gamedev.js Jam prizes and begin the js13kGames preparations - this one is no different, with the Countdown to js13kGames 2026 published exactly on June 13th.

Enclave Games Monthly Report: May 2026

Wrapping the voting, announcing the winners, then challenge results, publishing all the feedback, revealing the t-shirt design, and then sending all the prizes - the focus last month was solely on Gamedev.js Jam 2026.

Enclave Games Monthly Report: April 2026

Gamedev.js Jam 2026 started April 13th, with the submission deadline on April 26th, and the voting currently still ongoing, so understandably it was the main focus throughout the whole past month.

New Unicorn level in Flood Escape

This year we have a few themes so far already: Love, Machines, and now it's time for Unicorns and Rainbows. The National Unicorn Day is April 9th, but we've been busy kicking off Gamedev.js Jam 2026 last week, and so the new Unicorn level for Flood Escape arrives this week instead.

Last month everything revolved around Gamedev.js Jam 2026, the preparations to the seventh yearly edition are in full swing. Lots of prizes, partners, experts, and challenges were announced already, with more coming soon as the jam starts April 13th already.

Enclave Games in 2025, and plans for 2026

Last year was quite similar to the previous one as unfortunately no new games were released, but at least it was quite similar to the previous one as all the usual events and activities were organized more or less on time.

The original plan assumed joining the Game Off jam and building a game the whole month of November, which ended up being a few hours of vibe coding during one day of ETHGlobal hackathon in Buenos Aires happening during the Devconnect 2025 conference, but that's still better than nothing.

Every August is almost entirely about the js13kGames competition, and this year's one is no different - the competition started, theme was announced, submit form opened after a few days, we even introduced the Online category replacing the Server one which was discontinued a few years ago, and you can also win Quest 3S in the WebXR category.

We've published the js13kGames 2024 t-shirts gallery last month, and started the countdown to js13kGames 2025. Other than that June was mostly about wrapping things up to be able to freely go on much needed vacations at the beginning of July.

I vibe coded a shader in an hour and submitted it to the V Shaders challenge which offers $12k prize pool - you can do it too as the deadline is tomorrow, May 22nd.
