These photographs were published on my first website sometime in 2014. Just pictures without any text. Later, they were forgotten, just lying on the disk. But now is the time to remediate this mistake.
It’s hard to retain distinct memories of an event that reenacts the same historical battle year after year. I’ve attended the Battle of Lipany reenactment in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, but each one is essentially the same experience. I would like to know if other attendees can distinguish between the different years.
The only specific detail I remember is a bus that got stuck on the battlefield while trying to turn around. It took two tractors to pull it out.
However, there is one achievement I have linked to 2014: the official tickets featured a cover picture from my 2013 album.
I should attend another battle reenactment — it’s been ten years since I last visited one.
