You love your daily coffee. Whether it’s a Long Black, a milky latte, an espresso or a Vanilla Frappuccino Double-Cap Situation with a rare milk, you love it. Sometimes you worry you drink too much. Other times you worry the cost of a daily caffeine hit, at around £5, is an extravagance you should think about cutting down on.
Then, of course, there’s the environmental aspect; the pods, the takeaway cups, the straws. Not to mention how some coffee shops seem to serve glorified milkshakes with a hint of coffee that offer little nutritional value and contain more than a can of Coke’s worth of sugar.
It’s a pleasure but one we’re often made to feel guilty about. I definitely won’t be giving up my daily coffees, but listen to this update to find out what I discovered from taking a two week break for my daily java jolt.
