The other night at dinner, my friends and I were lamenting that we have no fun tops. I realized I basically own two categories: t-shirts and button-downs. But there’s nothing in that sweet spot for date nights, concerts, or drinks with friends when I want to look a little less...daytime.

So I took one for the team and bought dozens of tops, both online and in person (I still have strap marks from the shopping bags digging into my arms). After trying on what felt like half the internet, I narrowed it down to 11 great options that add some fun variety to my closet.
