Emily Mariko · Emily's Life Plan for the Week

I’m at the tail end of my pregnancy, and wanted to share a roundup of the products that I’ve loved throughout the last 9 months, plus some items that I purchased for baby / had on my registry!

Serena & Lily Sonoma bath towels and robes - the softest, fluffiest towels that make your bathroom feel like a spa. You can shop the towels and other furniture and decor in my apartment here! These would also make a great gift for pregnant friends.

Stokke mini crib - we are putting this by our bed, and I love the round design. It converts to larger sizes as the baby grows. We’re pairing it with Pehr sheets.

Bumpsuit - great for one pieces, bodycon dresses, and loungewear

Hatch - daytime outfits and sundresses, also loving their belly oil

Beyond Yoga - maternity athleisure, currently living in their black bike shorts

Hatch belly oil - A dry oil that soaks in easily and feels lightweight and non-greasy. I put this on first, and then layer a thicker cream on top

L’Occitane shea butter cream - thick and perfect for nighttime

Kate Quinn - whimsical prints in organic cotton

Hanna Andersson - colorful styles in high quality fabrics, super soft

Pehr - organic cotton clothing in neutral and simple patterns, gauze swaddles

Coterie diapers and wipes - we will likely end up trying a few different brands, but are starting with these

Tubby Todd bath products - simple, gentle formulas

Bugaboo Dragonfly - slightly more compact than their all-terrain stroller, but not as small as a travel stroller. Folds easily and fits well in our apartment

Hobonichi - the Japanese notebook/planner brand I’ve used for years and years. I’m using this adorable cover to note my pregnancy symptoms and jot down my daily memories. It has been so fun to look back on already!

These were my favorite things to eat while pregnant!

  • Yogurt bowls with Wallaby plain greek yogurt, Purely Elizabeth granola, Guittard semi-sweet chocolate chips, and whatever fruit was in season at the time

  • Scrambled eggs with wilted spinach, green onions, and parmesan

  • Fruit!

  • Baked salmon with lemon and soy sauce, rice, and broccoli or bok choy

  • Chicken salad pre-made from a local restaurant, I would add my own grapes

  • Egg salad made with 11-minute boiled eggs and kewpie mayo

  • Popcorn with melted butter and chocolate chips

  • S’mores made in the toaster oven, broiled with two marshmallows

I’m excited to see how my preferences and favorites will change as we settle into a new routine, and most of all I’m excited to meet this boy!! It’s any day now!
