1. Dolly Parton: the world is a better place for her having been in it, & lessened by her leaving it. What a remarkable talent & inspiration she's been throughout her life. She was truly a Good Person, in the truest sense of the phrase.
2. visiting the farm where we get our eggs & spending time with the chickens who lay them, then picking a basket of ripe, sun-warm peaches 🍑 (we ate half of them before we even got home!)
3. seeing a mama bear with THREE cubs. We were on the Harley so didn't stop to take pictures because mother bears aren't known for their tolerance; plus we & the bike smelled of ripe peaches, which we figured made us too appetizing a target 🐻
