i recently watched season 2 episode 8 of Charlie’s Angels (1977). featuring a boutique “health and wellness retreat” and i couldn’t keep my eyes off the Merch…..
THE_PLOT:
the girls go undercover at utopia west: a groovy “human potential” resort where guests pay good money to find their inner selves — and someone just found a corpse instead. In order to solve an air-jacking murder - they masquerade as a freelance magazine editor (maybe current day substack writer), a yoga instructor, and a bus driver. no spoilers but one of the angels ends up falling in love with the main suspect and she becomes the episode’s title: Angel in Love.
Cue the sleuthing, the suspicious glances, and Sabrina trying to figure out whether her new crush is a keeper or a killer.
