Hello Stitchers! 💁🏼♀️💕 A new embroidery tutorial is waiting for you on my YouTube channel today! 🪡💙
After exploring Turkey Loop Stitch, I started wondering how I could actually use this beautiful dimensional stitch in a real embroidery project.
And then I found my inspiration - chicory! 💙
I used photos of real chicory flowers as my reference and experimented with Turkey Loop Stitch to create my own embroidered version.
I simply looked at the real flower, studied its shape and colors, and improvised as I stitched, trying to make it look realistic, but still fun and interesting to embroider.
how to work Turkey Loop Stitch
how I choose thread colors using a real flower as inspiration
how I build the flower layer by layer
how I trim and shape the loops
how small details can completely change the finished flower
And of course, you’ll see whether my little experiment actually worked! 😊
