Over Half of the Missing Jane Doe 4 Notes Were Just Leaked

Transcripts of Handwritten Notes

After 48 hours of a whole lot of verification and background checking, I feel [almost] sure that these handwritten notes recently discovered on Scribd are indeed from the FBI and linked to the four FBI interviews (302) for Jane Doe #4. The confusion came in the handwriting, which, turns out, is multiple people on the same page.

For example, you can clearly see that the agent who wrote the first four bullet points is not the same agent who wrote everything after.

There were also some major redactions and re-redactions that needed to take place for the survivor, her friends, and her family. So now, with a few days under our belts to read, verify, and sweat a little, I feel more confident that these are likely the 37 pages of FBI handwritten notes that should accompany this story, and were originally missing as part of this case. The serial numbers are as follows:

While these documents appear to have been publicly posted for months, these were brought to my attention by crowdsourcing via one person on Signal and one person on Reddit who both led me directly to the pdfs on Scribd. I’m grateful for their help.
