New stuff...

The more she managed the more they praised her.

Because doing this meant others didn’t have to.

Now she had a dual purpose, she showed what she could do while not needing anyone.

And they liked that, because it meant they didn’t need to do it.

Until eventually her only nourishment was their words.

She could survive on just others approval until she needed nothing herself.

And the others? They grew with the liberation of obligation.

‘This must be right, this must be how it is’, she thought.

Until over time, those words became a cage, they left no space, no room for her.

She had become too good at this.

Now these words trapped, stifled.

And the others? Well, they stopped seeing her at all.

A few years ago I started to expand my work to writing about the other aspects to being a late diagnosed woman.

I wanted to share more about relationships and motherhood, after all this stuff all connects.

But I was also scared so set up a separate account for these.

But recently I have noticed the patterns, how many of us share similar stories and overlaps of of our experiences.

So I will begin to show the expansion of my work here, motherhood, relationships, the female load.

And I hope that we can lift the lid on some of this together.

Share patterns, break cycles.
