The Firebird Book Awards, hosted quarterly by Speak Up Talk Radio, celebrate storytelling across all genres while giving back in meaningful ways. Entry fees go toward projects that support women and children in long-term shelters — including donations of books and handmade pillowcases through Enchanted Makeovers.
I loved their mission and the chance to share my book all while helping a deeply worthwhile cause, so I’m very honored that The Goldilocks Genome resonated with the judges.
