Hi friends!
I’ve been struggling to find the words to describe what this past week in Nantucket meant to me.
When we first started dreaming up the Marea Classic, the goal was never simply to host a beautiful event. We wanted to create an experience that reflected everything Marea stands for. Thoughtful details, meaningful connections, beautiful places, and above all, making people feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
As much as we obsessed over every itinerary, table setting, outfit, and tiny detail, I walked away reminded that those things are only part of the story. The people are what made this week unforgettable.
Watching our team pour so much of themselves into creating something special made me incredibly proud. Every early morning, every last-minute adjustment, every behind-the-scenes moment was worth it because of the joy it created. It reminded me that some of the most meaningful work happens quietly, long before anyone else sees it.
And to every creator who joined us, thank you. You brought so much warmth, enthusiasm, kindness, and laughter to the island. One minute we were gathered around an elegant dinner table, the next we were dancing at the Chicken Box, and somehow it all felt exactly right.
That has always been the version of Marea I hope people experience. Beautiful doesn’t have to feel serious. You can care deeply about your work, obsess over the details, and still laugh until your stomach hurts. The best memories are often made somewhere in the middle.
I left Nantucket feeling incredibly grateful, inspired, and more excited than ever for what’s ahead. It was a week I’ll never forget.
And because so many of you asked, I rounded up everything I wore throughout the trip below. I hope it gives you a little summer outfit inspiration, whether you’re headed to Nantucket, the beach, or simply dreaming of your next getaway. 🤍
xx, Liz
