Anyone seen The Odyssey yet? Yeah, I’m feeling like Matt Damon when he’s on the raft after going through all of… you know, THAT! Tour really pushes you to the limits. You are constantly on the go, in airports or airplanes for the majority of the time, dashing to new places, packing and unpacking your suitcase, eating fast food every meal… and also getting to have the most incredible, life-changing, wish-granting, bucket-list, wildest-dream experiences all at the same time!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see us on our week long tour. I could never imagine we’d be standing in a room with over 100 readers discussing the nuances of writing a 6 person love fest 🤣 After years of self-doubt, it truly is incredible to get meet people who enjoy reading your work. It’s back to the grindstone now that we’re back! Helen and I received our copyedits for HER DARK EMPIRE, which means it’s another chance to dig deeper into the story! For those who don’t know, HER DARK EMPIRE is our new epic romantasy that’s releasing in April 2027. It’s our take on the chosen one story, but from a female perspective, and with an Anakin Skywalker inspired hero and Daenerys Targaryen inspired heroine. Basically, if you ever felt like Dany deserved a different ending or you wondered what would happened if Padme had said ‘yes’ to joining Anakin on the dark side, we hope you’ll check it out!
You guys know I am our audiobooks Number One Fan. Stef and Rob just bring SO MUCH magic with their performances, and our editor Fiona goes above and beyond to add little details (such as the echoey mate bond voices! How cool are those?)
In Stolen by Shadows, there is a scene we wrote where Ezryn sings… and you get to HEAR Rob sing it! Oh my gosh, you guys, get the tissues ready!
And with those tissues… Stef is going to make you cry. Sorry in advance. (But she’ll also make you laugh, because her goblin voice is PERFECTION).

Reading: The Emperor’s Enemy by Jasmine Mas. I was lucky to get an early copy and OMG I am laughing and gasping and racing through this book like crazy.
Watching: I am sneaking off to see the new Spider-Man tomorrow! No surprise he is my favorite super hero.
Listening To: On the plane, I didn’t have wi-fi, so I could only listen to a few random albums I had downloaded. That includes my longtime favorite Canadian band, Marianas Trench!
Reading: I did absolutely ZERO reading while on tour, but itching to get back to When the Moon Hatched!
