A simple collection of things that have stopped me in my tracks lately. Sharing objects, an editorial, little luxuries and something worthy of passing down. All of them have made life feel a little more beautiful.
A cocktail ring.
I'm in the mood for one! I found myself trying on estate cocktail rings at a local jewelry store the other day, and I haven't stopped thinking about them since. There's something so chic about pairing one with the simplest outfit—a crisp button-down, jeans, a linen dress, even a swimsuit. I love a sculptural stone in an oversized setting, especially in an unexpected color. Something that catches the light when you reach for a coffee cup or tuck your hair behind your ear.
Unlike the engagement ring or wedding band, I’m loving the idea that a cocktail ring carries no symbolic obligations. Just something purely for self expression and personal style.
I haven’t stopped thinking about Coeur de pierres for M Le magazine du Monde, photographed by Davit Giorgadze and styled by Laëtitia Gimenez Adam. I’m drawn to the eased out but sophisticated styling. And the jewelry! Has this further solidified your need for a cocktail ring too?
A pareo.
I’ve long believed it’s the chicest thing you can pack for a warm weather escape. Worn as a skirt over a swimsuit, tied as a halter dress for lunch, or draped over your shoulders at sunset, it always looks effortless. The best ones feel as though they’ve been collected over the years and tied a million different ways.
