I’m delighted to tell you that on July 4, 2026, Hollow Tree Press will be publishing a two-volume edition of my father’s best stories, in paperback, hardcover, and e-book editions.
The e-books for both volumes of Selected Stories of Robert Arthur: Fantasies & Mysteries have just gone into pre-sale.
I can wholeheartedly and unequivocally recommend every one of the twenty stories in each volume. They are truly marvelous tales. I wrote an editorial note about each of them, and a Foreword which appears in both volumes.
Each volume also has a terrific and comprehensive Afterword about my father’s life and work, and I urge all of you to treat yourselves to both volumes of this splendid collection.
Below, you’ll find the cover art for both books, as well as links to the Amazon book pages. I may or may not be giving you an update closer to the pub date, but I will definitely be sending out a notice on the day of publication, when the paperback and hardcover editions will become available.
Since my father was, among other things, a remarkably American writer, it seems fitting to celebrate his enduring short fiction on the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
