1.01 Purpose and Scope of This Guide

This work does not begin here. Long before this guide, others working much as you are now—researchers, experimenters, and builders—explored the effects of pyramid geometry on living systems, often at the margins of accepted science, sometimes at personal cost, and almost always without institutional support. Figures such as Antoine Bovis, Karel Drbal, Patrick Flanagan, Dan Davidson, John Burke, and Les Brown documented observations ranging from food preservation and seed vitality to biological and environmental responses that resisted easy explanation.

This guide does not attempt to summarize or adjudicate the full history of pyramid research. It draws selectively from prior work only where it informs practical, repeatable use with living systems.

Further back still, the precise geometry and alignment of ancient pyramids suggest a level of understanding that modern culture has not fully recovered, whether through loss, neglect, or a shift in worldview. This guide stands in quiet respect of that lineage. It does not claim to resolve what earlier work left open, but to continue it—carefully, practically, and in a form that can be taken up by ordinary people in ordinary places.

With this in mind, let us begin with a simple invitation: to explore, alongside others working in this way, what happens when pyramid structures are used thoughtfully and consistently when working with plants—whether in your backyard garden, on an apartment balcony, or atop your kitchen table with a few seeds or even a spiny cactus. No special equipment or prior belief is required—only a willingness to compare treated and untreated plants side by side.

Detailed construction guidance and sourcing recommendations are provided in the appendices**(see Appendices A and B)**.

The focus throughout is on direct experience. You’ll integrate small pyramid devices into the way you already garden and watch how seeds, seedlings, water, and soil respond over time. These materials are approached as living things, shaped by how they’re handled, responsive to your care and subtle changes in conditions. Differences, when they appear, reveal themselves through repetition and comparison rather than explanation or interpretation.

Plants are treated here as valid experimental instruments—capable of revealing beneficial, neutral, or disruptive effects through observable change.

Interpretation is intentionally delayed. Patterns are allowed to repeat before meaning is assigned. Single observations are treated as signals, not conclusions.

You don’t need a theory in your pocket to use this guide. There’s nothing here to prove, defend, or agree with. Pyramid geometry is approached simply as a tool—something you can build, place, and work with—rather than an idea you need to stand behind. In that sense, you are joining a practical lineage, not a belief system.

Agreement is not required. Attention is.

This primer doesn’t ask for peer-reviewed validation, ideological alignment, or acceptance of any particular explanation. You’re free to arrive curious, uncertain, or undecided. What matters is straightforward: can you repeat a method, and do you notice a difference when everything else is kept the same?

The scope of this guide is intentionally focused, and that focus is meant to support follow-through—and, over time, meaningful results.

You may already have a suitable pyramid, or you may choose to acquire or build one as you proceed.

Guidance on both options—including where to source reputable ready-made pyramids, materials and designs—is provided in the appendices (see Appendix X).

It concentrates on small to medium pyramids used within a garden scale, where experimentation remains low-risk and easy to integrate into existing workflows. Applications include everything from increasing seedling vigor to the pre-charging of seeds, water, and even soil amendments. Construction methods are kept accessible, and placement guidance remains practical rather than technical. The intention is to make exploration feel easy, grounded and achievable—and most importantly, something you can enjoy returning to.

To stay clear and useful, the guide also sets firm boundaries around what it does not cover.

This guide does not cover human health protocols or therapeutic claims. It also stays clear of advanced concepts such as radionics, remote work, or designs for large architectural or habitation pyramids. If you are primarily interested in personal transformation, or dramatic effects, this guide may feel restrained by comparison. That restraint is intentional.

Assuming you do not leave living material beneath a pyramid for months at a time, all suggested experiments are completely reversible; simply remove the pyramid if you wish to discontinue.

That choice isn’t a dismissal. I’ve explored some of these subjects myself, and I recognize that they can be meaningful and powerful in the right context. They simply belong to a different kind of work and require a different level of care. Leaving them out allows this primer to remain focused, practical, and honest in its use—for you, and for others beginning on this journey.

With these boundaries in place, let us turn to the guiding orientation that runs through all the experiments that follow.

Running subtly beneath everything that follows is a simple orientation: Geometry shapes conditions, but it doesn’t promise outcomes.

Pyramid form and orientation seem to influence how energy and biological processes organize within a space—whether that shows up in microbial activity, patterns of moisture and temperature, or other observable responses. Many interesting observations can be made, and careful comparisons can lead to meaningful insights.

That said, effects vary with environment, timing, materials, and biological context. No specific outcome can or should be promised. When changes do occur, they are often subtle at first—small shifts that become meaningful through side-by-side comparison over time. This variability isn’t treated as a problem to solve, but as part of working attentively with living systems. Results are expected to vary with weather, season, placement, and biological context. Variability is treated as information, not error.

The overall aim is rapid, contained experimentation—and, in time, the possibility of healthier plants and more nutrient-dense food. These results matter. They are tangible, encouraging, and immediately useful. But they are not why this work stays with people once the novelty wears off.

Plants provide fast feedback while avoiding the ethical and physiological risks associated with experimenting on higher organisms.

Plants are used because they respond without pretense. They don’t care what you believe. They respond only to the conditions they are given. Over time, this honesty becomes grounding. As you repeat simple experiments and observe small differences, something settles. Attention sharpens. Patience deepens. You begin to trust what you’re seeing rather than what you expect to see.

And slowly, almost without trying, the work stops being only about plants.

Working this way teaches patience in a practical sense. When you disturb less and wait longer, living systems begin to show you what they’re capable of without constant correction.

Most of what’s described here fits easily into everyday life. A few minutes of attention. A small structure placed with intention. A willingness to wait. Think of this guide not as instruction, but as companionship—something that encourages you to slow down, notice more, and take your role as a participant in living systems seriously, without heaviness or pressure.

If pyramid structures have something to offer the way you grow, you’ll discover that through experience. And even if they don’t, the process itself leaves a trace. You may find yourself intervening less reflexively, designing more thoughtfully, and sensing that the spaces you shape are not neutral. In that realization, working with plants becomes more than a method. It becomes a doorway into a quieter responsibility—one that begins in the garden, but doesn’t end there.
