In November 2024, two ideas were conceived: #7AUAgencies and #JazzNightsJupiter (JNJ).

At first glance, one was an institutional-awareness initiative and the other a crime-thriller set within the world of Agenda 2063. But together they began revealing something much bigger: African policies, protocols and institutions can become the raw material for compelling human stories about integration, governance, opportunity, vulnerability and the future of the continent.

#7AUAgencies became the bridge. By examining selected African Union agencies and their contribution to Agenda 2063, the project created a way of making continental institutions more understandable and accessible. JNJ then demonstrated what could happen when that institutional world was transformed into narrative—when policies and institutions became settings for characters, conflict, investigation and consequence.

From that creative experiment emerged the Bensah Architecture and the Bensah Method: a structured way of transforming African continental realities into stories. The Architecture provides the institutional and policy framework; the Method moves the story through policy, human consequence, conflict, investigation and meaning. JNJ became the creative laboratory in which these ideas could evolve.

The next step is Bensah Continental Narrative Intelligence (BCNI). BCNI takes the process beyond one fictional universe. African policies, REC protocols, continental institutions and integration challenges can be examined through the Bensah Architecture, developed through the Bensah Method, and transformed into narrative concepts, stories, investigative scenarios, threat-analysis questions and foresight exercises.

BCNI will offer services including institutional narrative intelligence, policy-to-story development, BCNI story briefs, full narrative projects, training and workshops, student story programmes, institutional story portfolios, narrative foresight and SCU-inspired fictional threat-analysis scenarios. Organisations, universities, communicators, journalists and students will be able to explore: What story is hidden inside this African policy or institution? What human consequences could emerge? Where is the conflict? What can an investigation reveal? And what might the story teach us about the future?

BCNI launches in 2027. The journey from #7AUAgencies → #JazzNightsJupiter → Bensah Architecture → Bensah Method → BCNI represents a decade-long creative and intellectual direction taking shape in public.

In partnership with ECOWAS Business News (EBN), BCNI will develop a growing catalogue of African continental stories and invite students and emerging storytellers to engage with selected narratives and create their own interpretations. The objective is simple: to turn Africa's policies, institutions and integration project into stories that help us understand the continent—and imagine its future.
