Deborah Ross just voted with another North Carolina Democrat to cut off military aid to our ally Israel.

Let that sink in.

While Iran funds, arms, and directs terrorist groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iraqi Shiite militias, groups that have killed Americans and Israelis for years, Ross is actively working to weaken the one country in the region that is fighting back against them.

This isn’t new. Middle Eastern terrorist groups, including the Iranian regime, were long supported by the USSR. Many of the older leaders of the Iranian communist movement, and associated Terrorist groups were educated in the Soviet Union. Iranian communists actively helped the Mullahs remove the Shah of Iran in 1979, hoping to use the revolution for their own ends. The Mullahs later turned on them, and killed their communist allies against the Shah, but the ideological roots and Soviet communist influence are clear.

President Trump is right to confront Iran and its network of terrorists. Israel is our strongest ally in that fight. Cutting aid to Israel doesn’t make us safer. It makes us weaker and puts American lives at greater risk, including the thousands of U.S. citizens who live and work in Israel.

This isn’t complicated foreign policy. It’s basic common sense.

And it gets worse when you look at the money.

Ross has taken tens of thousands of dollars from AIPAC and pro-Israel groups over her time in Congress, more than $100,000 according to campaign finance records. Now she votes to cut aid to Israel while the terrorist groups Iran supports continue their attacks.

That’s not principle. That’s pure political pandering and hypocrisy.

Ross’s vote is part of a pattern. She has consistently aligned with the most extreme voices in her party , the ones who sympathize with the Palestinians, downplay the threat from Iran, and treat Israel as the problem instead of the solution. When she screams about “women’s health care” or “democracy,” remember this vote. It shows where her real priorities lie.

North Carolina deserves better than a representative who takes money from pro-Israel groups and then votes to abandon our ally when it matters most.

I stand with President Trump’s strong approach to Iran and its proxies. I stand with Israel as our ally. And I will fight to make sure North Carolina is represented by someone who actually understands the threat and isn’t interested in weakening our defenses in the name of left-wing ideology.

The choice in November could not be clearer. Reject the hypocrisy. Support candidates who stand with America and our allies, not with the forces that want to weaken us. I am sure Michael Whatley agrees with me on this issue. Please support Michael against another Communist dictator Cooper, who did much to harm many in North Carolina, while he was governor. Together we win.

Communist Birds of a Feather Flock together.
