If you are in the Dallas area I could use some help in set up of the booth. Also, people to be staffing the booth to talk to. I am wanting to get a Gay-centric group going. I paid the $400 fee for two spaces.
Focus will be on fighting religious aggression, but it will also be a Gay centered group.

2. LGBTQXYZ+ media is often supported by other means than the Gay community. That is why they can ignore Gay opinion.

Small things I do.
[1] When I am done using a flash drive, I don’t just delete the files in it, I also reformat it.
I have a regular routine when I am finished using a flash drives and putting it back in my supplies.
[2] I make sure that I clear out the trash on my phone and computer and email at least once day. I don’t know if it does any good, but deleting spam and then deleting the trash must help reduce the risk if there is any.
[3] On Gmail, I report designate all spam as spam so it goes to the spam folder in the future to reduce the risk of me accidentally opening a spam message from the same spammers.

I have been mailing letters to Little Free libraries offering the book “Gay Teen Path to Success.”
I got this email a few days ago.
Hi Edward,
I got your letter and book offer for my little library, and I’m so impressed with that and your story in general. However, most of my library users are little ones, Pre-k to about nine years old. I’m wondering if you know of any books that are similarly helpful to gay kids but at a reading level of the younger kids?
I am no fool. I think the email was a set up. I could be wrong.
I know there is a slang expression, “8 before 7” for Gays who realized they were Gay at an early age, however, it is not common, and I am not sure what a book for them might be.
My mother, wanting to be an advanced progressive mother in the 1950s, explained the fact of life to me at the age of five. A five-year-old really doesn’t understand and doesn’t have any interest.
She said later when I got older and started to ask questions she realized that the explanation at the age of five was a mistake since I didn’t seem to have remembered any of it. I really don’t think explaining things at an early age does any good. But it just might be my experience.

I don’t know of any books for persons nine-years old or younger.
I am not sure what such a book would be.
When I was in school, in Minnesota, all the people in our textbooks were white, as well as on television, excepting the unfortunate “Amos and Andy” show. Neighborhoods weren’t integrated either. Any children’s book only had white people, excepting if the storyline involved some adventure in a foreign nation. One time when my younger toddler brothers were at Lake Minnetonka Park they saw some African Americans and excitedly asked my mom if they might know Tarzan.
Nearly all actors in the movies had Anglo-Saxon surnames.
Polish jokes were common then. People thought my last name was Polish, so I learned Mendelsohn was Polish and other Polish cultural heros, since if I said I wasn’t Polish they would think I was lying.
Nowadays, storylines in textbooks, movies, and television are integrated. No one tells Polish jokes.
What children’s books need to do is get children engaged with reading and realize there is a big world for which to enter you need to learn and study, including difficult topics. But they are also now not all white anymore. They reflect the world we live in.
I think that a book, which incidentally had a Gay character, just perhaps a couple living in the neighborhood might be good. I don’t know children’s literature though.
