When An Apolitical Event Becomes Political

One of the many stories that has been making headlines on ECSN TV has been what was supposed to be an event called SacAnime. This event is scheduled to take place September 4th through the 6th in Sacremento California.

One of the activities that is included with this event is the 25 reunion of the Halo Video Game series. One of the participants in this series is Marty O’ Donnell, the music composer.

Recently, O’Donnell this notification from the SacAnime organizers.

Apparently, one of his detractors who is a Kamala Harris surrogate took one of his statements out of context and the STUPID DUMBASSES of the American corporate media ran with it. I think we all know why don’t we, It’s because he is a Republican who is running for Congress in Nevada’s 3rd Congressional district.

Folks, he was NOT talking about LGBTQ+, he was talking about Marxism being antithecial to the U.S. Constitution.

The comments that O’Donnell made were on the WDW Pro show which is below this op-ed. (Joined in progress) Folks, this event should be one that is NOT infested with poltics. The HALO games were a part of many people’s childhoods and those people should be able to enjoy this reunion without the stench of politics darkening what should be a fun and pleasant experience.

Unfortunately however, some sorry bastards who simply are willing to accept the idea of allowing someone with a different worldview then they have have decided that how they feel somehow entitiles them to pick and choose who gets to come to these events. In this case, it’s a conservative Republican who has worked his ass off to make these products (HALO Game Show) the best video game products it could be with his outstanding music compositions.

If I were planning to go to this stupid event, I would have changed my mind because of this. Anyone saying this is not cancel culture is a STUPID DUMBASS and there are STUPID DUMBASSES amongst us.
