Education for Ministry (EfM) · Education for Ministry

After ten months of work, which included collaboration with our Dean, the Very Rev. Jim Turrell, the School of Theology’s Director of Operations and Financial Administration, Connie Patton, and with the University’s Department of Human Resources, EfM has completed staff restructuring.

When two employees retired and one transferred to another department within the university, it placed our administrative staff in a unique position to rethink how we do everything here at the Beecken Center and then to slowly rebuild from scratch what is needed to support EfM in a new and creative way. We have been doing that work and will continue to do that work together even though staff restructuring is complete. I imagine our efforts won’t fully come to fruition until early spring, 2027.

Staff restructuring is exciting, challenging, emotional, and difficult. We move through it, acting in good faith, one step at a time.
