Hi friends,
I have some exciting news.
After the success of my Mausritter - “Tails and Trinkets” TTRPG project last year, which is finishing up production now, I have a new project launching that I hope you all can help get the word out about, and maybe pick it up yourself.
“SpaceCat Adventures“ is bringing the world from my webcomic, “The Adventures of SpaceCat” into a rules-lite adventure sci-fi TTRPG
This will be a 12-16 page zine defining the simple rules of the game and introducing the players to Character Creation, a few villians and monsters, and adventure hooks.
If this is successful, it will be just the start of building a larger world for more “SpaceCat Adventures“.
Please Consider Following the Project
The galaxy is perilous and vast, full of life, adventure, and mysteries to explore.
You and your fellow adventures must take on jobs and seek the treasures of the galaxy in order to keep your ship flying another day. You seek freedom, adventure, the unknown, and maybe pay off some debts before you become the bounty.
Exploring ancient worlds, delivering cargo, bounty hunting, and taking on dangerous jobs across the galaxy.
Working together to stay alive, avoid space pirates, surviving bizarre alien encounters on strange worlds, and keeping your ship flying.
SpaceCat Adventures is an all-ages science fiction fantasy adventure game that combines high stakes and fun space adventure.
You play as an unlimited variety of Creature Types, from unlikely backgrounds across the galaxy, brought together by a call, or desperate need, for hunting the treasures of the unknown and often perilous expanse of space.
To get a sense of the feeling of the SpaceCat universe, go check out “The Adventures of SpaceCat“ at SpaceCatComic.com
The game mechanics will be heavily inspired by my admiration for masterful games like: Into the Odd, Cairn, Electric Bastionland, Mothership, and Mausritter.

For anyone interesting in my day job in VFX, here is an update.
Last year I worked on Avatar :Fire and Ash, helping to bring Jake, Quaritch, and Naytiri to life for the first time with ILM. This is the first time a company other than Weta worked on the characters. If you have seen the film, ILM’s sequences mostly took place when Jake is in an orange jumpsuit. Hopefully that does not give away too much.
I also just finished up work on a new live action series called SPIDER-NOIR, which should be a lot of fun. It comes out later this year on Amazon.
And finally, I have just started VFX production on Star Wars: Starfighter. I cant say much about that, but I can say that I am excited.
See you around, and please check out my “SpaceCat Adventures TTRPG” project on Backerkit.
