For decades, medicine studied male physiology as the default. Women’s hormones, cycles, fertility, and physical health were treated as niche topics rather than fundamental areas of research. The result is a system that leaves many women under-diagnosed, unheard, and navigating their health without the knowledge or support they deserve.

Right now, a new generation of researchers, founders, and clinicians is turning women’s health into one of the most exciting frontiers in science and technology. Anima House brings a group of them under one roof at Edge City India to live, build, and share their work for three weeks.

Anima House is a physical home and experiential hub nested inside Edge City India. For three weeks, 8-12 leaders in women’s health live together while building, learning, and sharing their work with the wider village. The house hosts dinners, workshops, women’s circles, and product demos open to the women of Edge City India.

The house is here to give women a deeper understanding of their bodies, cycles, and reproductive journeys, and to accelerate the people and ideas shaping the future of the field.

Beyond the house, residents get full access to everything Edge City India offers: coworking, community meals, wellness programming, talks, workshops, and hundreds of builders, researchers, and creatives across the three-week popup village.

Anima House is built around a core community of 8-12 leaders selected to represent the full ecosystem shaping this field:

• Founders building products, diagnostics, or care models that close real gaps in women’s health

• Researchers and scientists advancing the underlying science

• Clinicians reimagining how care is delivered and experienced

• Creators and educators making women’s health knowledge legible and accessible

• Facilitators equipped to hold space for women to deepen their mental and spiritual wellbeing

Anima House is a field-building hub for women’s health, hosting its first residency at Edge City India. The house brings founders, researchers, clinicians, creators, and facilitators under one roof for three weeks of demoing, experimenting, and learning out loud, with programming open to the women of the wider village. Edge City India is a three-week popup village on the beaches of Mandrem, Goa, running October 11 to November 1, 2026. It brings together hundreds of founders, builders, researchers, scientists, and creatives to live and work together. It’s the Indian edition of a global series of popup villages, and the first time the Edge City community lands in India.

Edge City convenes people working at the frontiers of tech, science, and society in popup villages across the globe. We’re building a society incubator: an IRL lab of experimentation for new ideas, technology, culture, and institutions, all aimed at accelerating human flourishing. Over 12,000 people have participated across previous gatherings.
