Yep that’s right - Reto Pro is giving the Millenials (THAT’S ME) a dose of nostalgia with their Y2K inspired KODAK Charmera Millennium Edition :)

My first phone was a tiny light blue Nokia brick and it only had one game on it - SNAKE lol I got it my freshman year of high school. Minutes and texts were limited and expensive. I still remember our house phone where, if you were sneaky and quiet enough, you could listen in on other people’s conversations (if there were two phones and there usually were). We had to run across the house to where the phone was stationed (if far away) and charging otherwise we might miss the call.
I remember blasting my eardrums out to Linkin Park using my portable CD player and wired headphones. My first camera, I was around early-mid teens maybe, and my grandparents gave me a teeny Canon Elph that was the most precious thing. I still have it somewhere…this was before they became known as digicams.
There was still dial up, AOL chatrooms (LOL), Giga Pets, game-boys, one shared family desktop computer, those HULKING TVs with VHS slots still, dual DVD/VHS players later on, Blueray, Playstation 1 (Spyro), IPODS (ipod nano, my heart), flip phones, razor phones…my first laptop wasn’t until freshman year of college.
Some of that stuff might have been introduced in the 90s/late 90s but we didn’t get it or still had it in the 2000s. I think my personal experience was behind the trends a few years.
I missed out on the first round of the Charmera. At the time it came out, I was sooo not in a place to write, shoot, review, so I let it pass by and watched the success. Again, afirming my previous statement that Reto doesn’t miss.
This time, I’m so ready to test it out!
