I wanted to share some updates on my journal app.
For anyone hearing about it for the first time, the main goal of my journal app is to help myself and others overcome the inertia around journaling.
In other words, it’s about making journaling easy.
That’s why you can now add prompts to your entries.
These can be questions or text that guide your journaling on what to write about.
The secondary goal of the app is to help you look back on your entries and recognize how you’ve grown over time.
You can now create journals to group related entries, so you can view things like your fitness or travel entries together.
This also supports another new feature, Serendipity.
Credits to MyMind for first naming a feature of their app Serendipity.
It’s a TikTok-style vertical scrolling view that displays your journal entries one at a time in random order, allowing you to rediscover past entries.
I’ve opened 500 slots for our beta on TestFlight. Click the button below to download and test the app!
Thank you for following my journey in making apps. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback.
