Location: Lakeview Pavilion: 3550 N Jean Baptiste Pointe du Sable Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60613 Note: Since the pavilion can’t be reserved we will either be under it’s roof or under some trees nearby.

Description:
We’re trying something new: a lakefront social. We’ve found a lovely and secluded spot - with easy access to the Belmont station. We’ll have drinks, food, blankets, and company. With trees, grass, and an almost beach, we’ll have a blast while enjoying Chicago’s lake. While swimming is an option, it will not be obligatory (obviously). Plenty of people, including me, won’t dive in, but many will. As the sun sets we’ll be able to enjoy the fireworks in the distance.
