Today let’s decode a study published just two weeks ago in Frontiers in Medicine that did something quietly significant. It took patients with ME/CFS and patients with Long COVID, gave them an MRI and used two different advanced imaging techniques to look at the microscopic structure of their brain tissue. Not function, not blood flow, not activation patterns, but the actual physical integrity of the tissue itself.
