Disclosure Day (DD) has been out for a few weeks and it has generated considerable discussion online. What do Christians think of the film? Not surprisingly, there is no single Christian response mostly because Christianity encompasses a wide range of theological traditions and perspectives. A minority of Christian’s have reported that DD reveals faith and wisdom as Sister Maura (a Catholic Sister character in the movie) asks why God would make a universe so vast and save it just for human beings, while many other Christians see the movie as a direct assault on Christianity. Among the Christian denominations, Catholicism takes center stage in the film.
