When I first started designing online storefronts, the internet looked completely different. Amazon was still finding its footing, Shopify didn’t exist yet, and nobody could have guessed how fast e-commerce would evolve. What hasn’t changed, though, is the challenge: creating an online space that feels trustworthy, engaging, and built for people—not just algorithms.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, from small businesses to personalities like Dee Ann Booher, better known as Matilda the Hun from the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. That project eventually connected me with the documentary Wrestling Then and Now, and it reminded me how closely design and storytelling can overlap. Every storefront tells a story, whether it’s about a product, a brand, or the person behind it.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that e-commerce never stands still. Trends change, platforms shift, and customer expectations keep rising. The key is learning how to adapt while keeping the human element at the center. At the end of the day, people don’t just shop for products—they shop for connection, clarity, and trust.
If you’re ready for a storefront that grows with change instead of falling behind it—get in contact with me.
