Let’s pick a date and get it scheduled!

How do we grow participation and engagement? We’ll discuss outreach strategies and opportunities.

Discussion about developing and supporting a regional ham radio hospital communications capability.

Tonight we’re diving into the world of digital radio operations — beginner-friendly and practical.

We’ll cover:

  • Easy entry points into digital modes

  • Different hardware levels (simple to advanced setups)

  • Sound card interfaces, hotspots, and digital-capable radios

  • Live demos of various equipment types

If you’ve been curious about FT8, Winlink, JS8Call, packet, or other digital modes — this is your starting point.

No experience required. Just curiosity.

🗓️ Latah AuxComm / ARES Net – Tuesdays at 1830
📡 WA7HWD Moscow Mountain Repeater
• 146.820 MHz (– offset, 127.3 Hz PL)
🧾 Prompt: https://dsarc.us/nets/auxcomm_ares

🎙️ Net Control Operators Needed!
It’s a great way to build confidence and emergency communications skills. Reach out on Discord or email contact@dsarc.us if you’d like to run a net.

We’re looking for:

  • Technical write-ups

  • Event recaps

  • Project builds

  • Educational content

Have something cool to share? Let us know!

📧 contact@dsarc.us

We’re looking for someone to help:

  • Share meeting updates

  • Post event reminders

  • Promote activities

  • Grow awareness in the community

If you enjoy social media and want to support the club — this is a great way to contribute.

Have a topic you’d like to teach?
Beginner or advanced — we’re always looking for presenters.

Fun Fact:
Many popular digital modes like FT8 can decode signals that are far below human hearing levels — sometimes down to -20 dB or lower — meaning you can make contacts when voice would be impossible.

Pro Tip:
When starting digital modes, keep it simple. A basic interface cable and free software can get you on the air faster than waiting for the “perfect” setup.

✨ Whether you’re brand new, returning, or deeply experienced — tonight is a great chance to plug in, learn something new, and help shape what DSARC becomes next.

See you at 1800 for testing and 1900 for the meeting — in person or on Discord! 🎙️📡
