What's going down in DD town...

We hope you’re doing well!

We rarely send an email unless we’ve got something worth saying, so here’s a quick update on what’s going down in DD town...

We’re always cooking up ideas for in-store events, and we’ve got a few more planned before the year is out.

We’re currently chatting with Evans, Gretsch, Mapex, Paiste, Sonor and Vater about clinics, tuning sessions and a few other ideas we’ve got up our sleeves... So keep an eye on our socials if you’d like to get involved.

With over 35 Mapex snare drums currently available, we decided to go all out and order every single one of them.

The plan? Film all of them with at least three different tunings.

That’s over 100 videos... recorded… in… ONE day!!!

We might even invite a few of you along to be part of it...

Every day at around 1:30pm, we stop what we’re doing and take a 10–15 minute drum break.

We take turns teaching each other something fun—whether it’s a groove, a fill or an exercise. It’s become known as The 1:30 Club.
