The Power Coalition for Equity and Justice will host its People’s Power Roadshow 2026 in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, April 21, aiming to inform residents about upcoming elections and key issues affecting local communities.
The event is scheduled for 6p.m. to 8 p.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 185 Eddie Robinson Sr Dr., and comes as early voting approaches.
Organizers say the roadshow will provide information on congressional races, Public Service Commission contests and constitutional amendments, along with their potential impact across Louisiana.
Speakers are expected to include Public Service Commissioner Davante Lewis; Jan Moller of Invest Louisiana; Checo Yancy of VOTE; Michael McClanahan of the NAACP Louisiana State Conference; and Kaitlyn Joshua of Pulse Baton Rouge.
According to organizers, the event will include an overview of the elections, discussion of community issues and information on how residents can remain engaged beyond the forum.
The roadshow is part of a broader statewide effort to increase voter awareness and participation ahead of the election season.
