I have studied psychology and human behavior for 35 years. 20 of those years has been dedicated to studying mass killers and psychopaths. I specialized in Threat Assessment and Threat Management with a focus on Mass Casualty Attacks. In Threat Assessments, "Leakage" is when someone planning violence inadvertently reveals their intent through threats, writings, or behavior, serving as a critical early warning signal in threat assessment. I use the term "Broadcasting" when the Leakage is pre- planned and intentional. Leakage and Broadcasting give you a real shot at disrupting the plan before it escalates. Miss it, and the attack moves forward without interference, often ending in completed mass killings and far higher casualties.
