Today is the day.

Today, Tuesday, August 11, is the Republican Primary, and I respectfully ask for your vote.

I am proud to be the Republican Party Endorsed Candidate for Congress in Connecticut’s Fourth Congressional District.

This campaign is about the issues affecting you and your family every day:

AFFORDABILITY. ENERGY. HEALTHCARE. OPPORTUNITY.

The cost of living is too high. Energy costs are too high. Healthcare is too expensive and too complicated. And too many families are wondering whether their children and grandchildren will have the same opportunities that previous generations had.

This election is about you. Your future. And the next generation.

It is also about advancing federal solutions to the local problems we see every day — from healthcare and energy costs to infrastructure, economic development, workforce opportunities and protecting the quality of life in our communities.

I haven’t waited to be elected to start working.

I have been advocating, taking action and going to Washington to make Connecticut’s voice heard before I even hold the office.

Imagine what I can do when you send me to Congress.

And as those of you who know me already know:

I fight for my patients. I fight for my family. And I will fight for the people of Connecticut.

But today, I need you to fight with me.

Get to the polls.

Cast your vote.

Then call a friend, a neighbor or a family member and tell them to vote too.

An August primary is decided by the people who show up. Every vote matters — including yours.

We can complain about the cost of groceries, electricity, healthcare and the direction of our country.

Or we can do something about it.

Today is our opportunity to do something.

• Let’s fight for better healthcare.

• And let’s fight to make sure the next generation has an even better future.
