LOST AT SEA- ASTROLOGY WEEK

This week, Mars in Cancer is squared by Neptune in Aries, bringing us into the mysterious territory where action meets surrender, instinct meets imagination, and certainty dissolves.

Mars in Cancer says, Protect what you love.
Neptune in Aries asks, What if what you are is much larger than you imagined?

There once was a sailor lost at sea.

A terrible storm had blown the sailor far off course. The compass spun uselessly, the stars disappeared, and the harder the sailor fought the waves, the more lost they became.

Finally, exhausted, the sailor released the wheel and whispered:

Take me where I need to go.

Just before dawn, singing rose from the water.

A mermaid appeared and simply said, Follow me.

She led the sailor to a small island where, beneath an enormous Full Moon, fairies danced among the trees and fireflies floated like tiny lanterns.

As the Pisces Full Moon and partial lunar eclipse arrives August 28, we too enter this dreamlike realm of memory, intuition, surrender, and our invisible connection to all life.

Suddenly the whales began to sing.

The sailor fell to their knees because somehow they understood the song.

A memory flooded through them:

I was once a whale.

Swimming through ancient oceans. Following invisible currents. Calling across vast distances to others who answered.

And the sailor remembered something humanity had forgotten:

We were never separate from the Oceans.

The next morning, a rescue ship appeared.

As the sailor climbed aboard, the island disappeared into mist. The mermaid watched from the water and the whales sang one final time.

The sailor silently vowed:

I will not forget you.

Back home, people wanted stories about the storm. Instead, the sailor spoke about whales, mermaids, oceans, and the sacred web connecting every living thing.

Some laughed.

Others leaned closer and said:

Tell me more.

And telling became the sailor’s life’s work—protecting the oceans, speaking for the creatures who could not speak in human language, and reminding people that the ocean is not something out there.

The ocean is inside us.

Perhaps that is this week's invitation.

Mars square Neptune may make us feel temporarily lost, while the Pisces eclipse reminds us that getting lost sometimes leads us back to what the soul already knows.

The great living world is waiting for us to remember:

There is no such thing as a separate life.
