I host a monthly in-person writing event in which I make prompts available to writers who want to use them, and I thought… why not make some monthly prompts available to writers who want to use them who aren’t in the room?
Choose one, two, or all three. Have fun!
Write about a risk worth taking. You do not have to have already taken this risk, you only have to be able to write about why it’s risky and why it’s worth taking.
Write about something you overheard once and have thought about ever since.
In your opinion, which animal is the most inherently hilarious and why?
Have fun playing with these. I hope they’re generative, spark some interesting thoughts, and generally give you something fun to do with your brain and your words.
