Word Tumble

I am a jumble. Attention shifts

Forms morph, Stressed interruptions

Intentions akimbo

A lot on my plate? Nay, shifting plates

Like slides moving in and out

Digestible in quiet mouthfuls

Broken down slowly after a myriad of shifting blinks

Generation and synthesis are not the same as expression and communication

Some processes can’t take up the same space. Don't. Won’t.

It's a fancy to expect

Everything to happen all at once.

Everything is on the plate all at once

But you can't see it or engage with it as one

And so we live moment-to-moment in time

Jumbled, then flowing.

That’s two more states that exist consecutively,

Not in the same place.

Consciousness holds them all out of vision never losing connections

Mind follows the lines in an attempt to see

World views

Drawn perceptions

There is a state I call log-jammed where nothing comes out unless you let it tumble.

This was a word tumble.

  • Noticing states of consciousness and learning to shift states

  • Sustaining creative processes that feed our life and wellbeing

  • Workbooks 1-7 toward attaining my International Certificate in Rebirthing Breathwork Mastery

  • Mental Health First Aid course material

  • My 12 statements about Dialogic Practice and correlating them to statements in found academic literature toward a piece about the qualities of dialogic art practice
