Recently I have been reflecting on the idea of wealth.
Not only financial wealth, but something quieter and perhaps older — the kind of wealth that lives in relationships, in reciprocity, and in the ways communities and ecosystems support one another to live and thrive.
Through my training in Breathwork Mastery (RBM) I have been exploring how the body carries stories about belonging, support, and whether it is safe for us to receive from life.
Sometimes these stories sit very deep in the nervous system.
They can show up as familiar thoughts such as
“I don’t belong.”
“I can’t have what I want.”
or “There isn’t enough.”
Breathwork Mastery is one way of meeting those stories gently through the body.
In a session we breathe full, conscious, connected breaths through the nose for a sustained period of time. This allows sensations, memories, emotions and insights to arise naturally, while the breath supports the nervous system to integrate what is ready to shift.
In my own process, I have found that what I thought were “money blocks” were not about money at all, but about belonging.
As I began to access and move grief held in the body, something shifted.
I could feel the ways I am supported.
The ways I am connected.
The ways I am already part of something.
I could know it as an experience in my body.
A kind of wealth that exists in relationship: to the cultures, places, environments, and communities of which we are a part.
This exploration also relates to Dreamtending where I focus on nurturing creative and mythical imagination — supporting myself and others to become creative participants in our communities, and to make soulful contributions that are responsive to the needs of our time.
Increasingly, I am interested in how a sense of wealth and belonging can emerge through relationship — not only with people, but with place, with the land, and with the deeper stories we are living.
Breathwork Mastery RBM is one of the ways I am currently exploring this. It is an embodied practice that supports us to feel, integrate, and participate more consciously in those relationships.
For anyone who feels curious about exploring this through the body, I am offering a small, online group breathwork session together with Jordan Maria from The School of Breathwork.
Each session includes:
• intention setting
• 90 minutes of guided breathwork
• time afterwards to reflect and integrate the experience together
5 places available.
The group is intentionally small so that each participant can be supported.
Session options:
Saturday 21 March 8.00 GMT or Friday 24 April 21.00 BST
Facilitated by
Maija Liepins, Breathwork Mastery practitioner in training (2+ years)
and
Jordan Maria, Breathwork Mastery practitioner
Exchange: £85 - £125 per session (pay what you feel)
