We don’t do radiology images nearly enough on this page. However, I am going to start working these in when I can. The following image comes from a 77 year old male who was found dead in his home. He lived alone but his neighbor said he thought the man had “cancer” but he didn’t know what type. Scene examination did not reveal much other than numerous medical appointment cards including an oncologist, family medicine doctor, and transfusion medicine/blood bank doctor. The medical examiner’s office was trying to decide whether or not to autopsy the case or sign it out with an external examination. Hence, X-rays were ordered to add more information in order to make such a decision:
