Case:
A 51 year old man was driving his truck when to the surprise of bystanders, his vehicle left the roadway, accelerated, and smashed into a gas pump. The pump exploded, engulfing the cab of the truck in flames and causing 3rd and 4th degree burns to the body. The body was burned so badly that there were no recognizable features and identification was attained through dental records. An autopsy was performed to determine the cause and manner of death and to shed light on why accident occurred in the first place. The following specimen was obtained at the time of autopsy:
