Office Hours #3 - Ask Dr. Boz

This is the thread where you’ll post the questions I’ll answer in the next Dr. Boz Office Hours session!

If you were here for the past 2 sessions, you know the drill. If you’re new, here’s what I want you to do...

In the comment section below, ask your question. Then read through what everyone else has asked, and press the ‘like’ button on the ones you want answered most. The questions that rise to the top and are more likely to get selected.

Note: I review every question submitted. I cover some of the most important questions during each Office Hours session, and I select others to answer in future sessions or explore in more detail through long-form Substack posts. So if your question isn’t covered live, don’t worry, I will address it.

A word on what makes a question great

The best questions I get all have one thing in common.

They were a story with a twist. “I did X, I expected Y, but Z happened instead. What’s going on?”

They came from a real situation somebody was actually living, and the answer ended up helping far more people than the person who asked it. Those are the ones we can really dig into on the show.

One more thing. My favorite questions are the ones that send me to the latest literature. If your question makes me ask “wait, why does the body do that?” you have my full attention. I want questions that make me study. Bring me one of those, and we will learn it together.
